Frore Systems continues the blistering pace of unlocking AI performance with AirJet® solid-state active cooling solutions

SAN JOSE, California – January 2, 2025: With a slew of recent announcements highlighting major accomplishments throughout 2024, Frore Systems has demonstrated why AirJet®, the world’s first solid-state active cooling chip, has been embraced by manufacturers needing to keep pace with the increasing performance required to bring AI advancements to market.

2024 has been a busy year, full of exciting customer and technical milestones for the groundbreaking company:

  • Customer Product Launches: Announced the launch of multiple commercial products, manufactured by customers using AirJet Thermal cooling solutions.  Commercial products including Mini PCs, Industrial Tablets, AI Edge Gateways and Professional SSD drives, all with breakthrough performance and features. Additional Consumer, Smart home, Smart City, and Industrial products with AirJet are in development by Tier-1 manufacturers with product launches expected throughout 2025 starting at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona. The Frore Systems team has been busy satisfying the growing demand for AirJet, continuing the high-volume shipments, which commenced in January 2024.
  • New AirJet Product launches: Frore Systems launched AirJet Mini Slim, a thinner, lighter, smarter and even more advanced solid-state active cooling chip, AirJet Mini Sport, the award-winning waterproof version of the industry leading AirJet chip, that enables active heat removal from IP68 waterproof devices for the first time and AirJet PAK, the world’s first plug and play, autonomous, solid-state active cooling module, designed to complement a wide range of System on Module (SoM) AI Computers, including NVIDIA’s Jetson Orin Nano, Nano Super, NX and AGX modules, and SoMs from Qualcomm, NXP, AMD/Xilinx, and more.
  • Recognized with multiple 2024 Industry Awards: the CES® 2024 “Best of Innovation Award” Honoree for AirJet Mini in the Embedded Technologies category, and CES® 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree in both the Computer Hardware & Components, and Embedded Technologies categories; The Future of Memory and Storage summit, honored Frore Systems with their “Most Innovative Technology Award” which recognizes innovations that will change the way high-performance memory or storage works; and EE Times, recognized Frore Systems with their “EE Award Asia Gold Selection - Gold Selection Emerging Startup Award”.
  • Achieved ISO certifications, ISO9001 & ISO14001: In 2024, Frore Systems’ Taiwan Fab achieved the world class ISO certification, ISO9001, demonstrating the company’s focus on consistently meeting customer expectations and delivering high-quality products through well-defined and efficient processes and ISO14001, reflecting Frore Systems’ dedication to minimizing the environmental impact of its operations.
  • Passed Rigorous Industry Reliability Testing: In 2024, AirJet passed the rigorous reliability testing demanded by customers. These tests include continuous long-life operation for the most demanding environmental conditions. Frore Systems also passed the rigorous drop, vibration, shock, dust, high humidity and high ambient temperature tests required for the most critical and demanding consumer, smart home, industrial and smart city applications.  Consequently, AirJet is now part of Approved Vendor Lists of several Tier 1 manufacturers.
  • Series C fundraising: In May 2024, raised $80M led by Fidelity Management & Research Company. The total money raised by Frore Systems now exceeds $200M, with the funds used for continued R&D activities to deliver to Frore’s Law of doubling AirJet thermal performance every 2 years and scaling operations to meet the rapidly growing demand for AirJet solid-state active cooling solutions.

Frore Systems will be at CES in January giving everyone the opportunity to see their technology inaction. At CES, the company will have live demonstrations of a range of commercially available products featuring AirJet solid-state active cooling. Frore Systems will also be demonstrating new devices such as Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge and Apple iPad Pro, both delivering a 50% performance boost in performance after being upgraded with AirJet chips, and several Nvidia Jetson Orin Edge AI platforms upgraded with AirJet PAKs to speed up AI performance in industrial grade casings that are ultra compact, silent, vibration free, dustproof and water-resistant.

Experience the future of AI performance and more, in the Frore Systems Demonstration Room, January 7 – 10 in Las Vegas, at the Venetian Expo on Level 2, in Room 2401B.
