Light, silent, super powerful… consumers should expect it all from the world’s thinnest Notebook.

Light, silent, super powerful… consumers should expect it all from the world’s thinnest Notebook.
At Frore Systems we love showing consumers how much better their user experience could be if popular commercial platforms added AirJet solid-state active cooling to their devices.

And the team has done it again! They demonstrated the massive increase in performance possible with Airjet in the new Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge, the thinnest Notebook on the market at just 10.9mm.   Upgraded with AirJet, the Samsung Galaxy Book4Edge achieves an incredible 50% increase in AI performance, showing that now, consumers really can demand it all.

Thinner, lighter, higher performing notebooks are perfect for users on the move

The team achieved the massive performance boost from 12 W to 18 W – a 50% increase in sustained CPU and AI performance - by replacing the two large area fans currently used in the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge, with four AirJet chips. This innovative solution reduces the cooling solution footprint by 50% - the fan requiring 9,200 mm2 vs the AirJet footprint of just 4,600 mm2.  The extremely compact AirJet solution also creates additional space inside the Notebook allowing for a bigger battery, increasing battery size from the current 53 Wh to 70 Wh - increasing video playback by a massive33%.

The AirJet solution achieves this while maintaining the Samsung Notebook’s super thin form factor of just 10.9mm, retaining its coveted position as the slimmest notebook available. Compared to the 11.5mm thick MacBook Air 15”, the Galaxy Book4 Edge upgraded with AirJet is not only thinner, but also far surpasses it in performance, by a staggering 50% – 18 Watts for the Samsung Notebook vs just 12Watts for the MacBook Air.

“The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is an incredible Notebook, unleashing power-packed performance with an advanced NPU and the fastest processor available in theSnapdragon® X Elite series.” said Dr.Seshu Madhavapeddy, the founder and CEO of Frore Systems.  “Samsung’s all-new PC experience is already transforming how users create, communicate and play.  Just imagine the endless possibilities with even more power - an additional 50% AI performance unleashed by AirJet. The future of AI is truly being enabled by solid-state active cooling.”

The team showed the upgraded Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge with AirJet inaction at CES2025, together with a range of commercially available products, manufactured by our incredible customers and featuring AirJet solid-state active cooling.

We also demonstrated new devices upgraded with AirJet chips and AirJet PAKs – our autonomous, plug and play, solid-state active cooling modules, targeting industrial computing devices, speeding up AI performance in industrial grade casings that are ultracompact, silent, vibration free, dustproof and water-resistant.
